Development assessment fees
Fee Schedule
As of the 1st of August 2010 Southern Water will be introducing a revised fee schedule with regard to the provision of Development Assessment Services.
This fee schedule will apply to all Development Applications received across the region. Pricing will be structured in a way that is indexed relative to the scope of the proposal, taking into consideration the following:
- Land size
- Total allotments
- Supply/discharge requirements, and
- Time required by SW staff to assess and provide advice relating to the proposal.
Building and plumbing applications requiring Southern Water input (non-exempt applications) will be invoiced with the relevant fee, sent to the applicant after lodgement. Development applications forwarded by Council to Southern Water for assessment will attract a process fee. Applicants will be advised by Southern Water of the respective fee once the application has been received from the Council.
