Timing of accounts
Accounts based on the value of your property
Customers with accounts calculated based on property value should already have received an account from Southern Water for water and wastewater services.
For customers paying by instalments, the due dates have been changed to spread out up to 30 June 2010.
Remaining instalment accounts will be due as follows:

| Fourth | 30 June 2010 |
Accounts based on how much water is used
Around 19, 500 Southern Water customers' accounts are currently calculated using a water meter. Some of these customers receive a free allowance and are charged excess water charges if they use more than the allowance. Others are charged according to how much they use.
Customers with metered water should already have received an account from Southern Water for fixed water and wastewater services. A separate account for how much water has been used will be issued as meters are read from January 2010.
