Paying your account

To make budgeting easier, a full range of payment options is available to all customers.

You can choose to pay the whole amount within 30 days of the account date, or you can pay in four equal instalments. You can also arrange fortnightly payments by setting up direct debit, just as you do for your council rates.

You can choose to pay online through Service Tasmania. Please quote the Biller Code and Reference Number located on your account.

Detach the payment slip and complete credit card details or send a cheque payable to Southern Water to:

Pay with cash, a credit card or cheque at Australia Post or Service Tasmania centres.

Contact your financial institution to make a payment from your nominated account. Please quote the Biller Code and Reference Number located on the back of the account.

Post Billpay

In person at any post office.

Centrepay

Centrepay is a free direct bill-paying service offered to customers receiving payments from Centrelink. Through Centrepay you can choose to pay bills by having a regular amount deducted from your Centrelink payment.
