Under the new regulations, from 1 July 2009 Southern Water is responsible for approving any relevant water and sewerage infrastructure related aspects of Planning, Building and Plumbing Applications in southern Tasmania.
Southern Water provides a number of services to planning, building and plumbing customers. Services include certification and assistance with planning, building, plumbing, water and sewerage related works, tradewaste and information requests.
