Emergency interruptions

There are currently no emergency interruption to water supply.

 

Southern Water apologises for any inconvenience caused by broken, burst or damaged water pipes. When water supplies have been restored after an emergency interruption customers are advised to run an outside tap for a few minutes to allow sediment or cloudiness to clear from the water line.

 

Current planned interruptions to water supply

  • Tutton Avenue, Huonville: Due to water main works in conjunction with council road works, the water supply to your area will be turned off between the hours of 10.00am and 2.00pm on Thursday 17 May.
  • Ellerslie Road, Battery Point: Due to new connection works, the water supply in your area will be turned off between the hours of 10.00 am and 3.00 pm on Thursday 17 May.

Southern Water apologises for any inconvenience our scheduled work on your water and sewerage systems may cause. Affected customers will be notified via letter.

 

Customers are advised to store sufficient quantities of water for personal use during this period. Southern Water employees may need to access your property frontage while the work is underway however every effort will be made to minimise any impact.
